Jack’s artist bio is a constant work in progress as he continues to dive deeper into art things, but if he had to sum it up………………
Over the last few years, Jack’s work has mainly consisted of seemingly random type and objects. At the foundation of his work though, is composition. He finds positive and negative space to be really fascinating, because of this Jack will pluck certain words and objects that fit a composition currently floating around his head. Once the idea in his head hits paper (sort of speak), Jack will continue to tweak and think of new imagery to be added. What does text and object communicate? How do we interpret it? What’s the relationship of the text and object? Narratives? Jack leaves these questions up to the viewer to piece together their own conclusion to what he is presenting.
